About
If you gave 1000 monkeys 1000 hours of studio time, some drums, a Les Paul, and a handful of Fender guitars, they would quite likely recreate precisely the collected works of EXIT.
Having written and recorded at least 114 songs over a period of roughly 20 years, EXIT was often as quirky as they were prolific. With concert antics ranging from batting a hanging Santa Claus with a guitar like a piñata, to showers of money raining down on the audience during performances of “Money,” EXIT was truly a product of the 1980’s/1990’s Fullerton music scene.
Born of recording sessions at the legendary Casbah Studio in Fullerton from 1988 to their closing in 1990, EXIT’s timeless sound hovers somewhere between alternative, not-quite-punk, and sometimes just plain punk.
